Website Traffic Checker

How the Website Traffic Checker Works

Enter a domain or a single URL, pick a country, and we return two numbers: estimated monthly organic traffic and the total count of keywords that target ranks for.

The estimate is built from rankings, not from the site's own analytics. We find every keyword the target ranks for in Google, apply a click-through rate based on its position, and multiply that by the keyword's monthly search volume. Adding all of those together gives you the traffic figure.

Every competitive research tool works this way. That's why you'll see different numbers across different tools. They each use a different index size and a different click-through model.

Single mode checks one target and returns results in seconds. Bulk mode handles up to 100 targets at once and runs in the background while you keep working.

Reading Your Results

Organic Traffic is the estimated monthly visits from Google search in the country you selected. Treat it as a directional signal rather than an exact count.

Total Keywords is how many distinct terms that target ranks for in Google's results for your chosen country. A bigger number usually means broader topical coverage, but it doesn't automatically mean more traffic. A site with 100 strong rankings can easily outperform one with 10,000 weak ones, so always read these two columns together.

Domain rolls up every page on the site. URL limits the results to one specific page. Use Domain to size up a competitor and URL to see how a single article is performing.

Common Questions

Why doesn't this match my Google Analytics?

Analytics counts every visit from every channel: organic, paid, direct, email, referral, and social. This tool estimates organic Google traffic only, and only for one country at a time. If your Analytics number is higher, the difference is those other channels.

Can I really see a competitor's traffic?

Not their actual visitor logs. No third-party tool can. What you're getting is a well-informed estimate built from their rankings. For established sites with lots of rankings it tends to land in the right range. For new or very small sites it can be off in either direction.

What counts as good traffic?

That depends entirely on your niche and your business model. A local contractor getting 500 visits a month from their service area may out-earn a content site pulling 50,000 generic visits. The better question is whether your traffic is growing and converting. Use this tool to benchmark against the competitors you're actually chasing.
