How the Website Ranking Checker Works
Enter a domain or a specific URL, pick a country, and we return every keyword that target currently ranks for in Google's organic results. Each row shows the position it holds and the estimated monthly traffic that keyword sends.
Leave the type dropdown on Auto and anything starting with http will be treated as a single URL. Everything else is read as a domain. You can override that with the dropdown if you need to.
Single mode returns results right away. Bulk mode handles up to 10 targets and runs in the background while you keep working.
The keyword, position, and traffic estimate are free. Search volume, CPC, competition, and trend data sit behind a separate button on the results table because that data comes from a source that charges per keyword.
Reading Your Results
Position is where your page currently sits in Google's organic results for that country. Positions 1 through 3 are the very top of page one. Four through 10 fill out the rest of page one. Eleven through 20 is page two. Anything past 30 brings almost nothing.
Traffic is an estimate, not measured analytics. It's search volume multiplied by the expected click-through rate for your position. Useful for prioritizing, not for reporting.
When you check a domain, we return one ranking URL per keyword: whichever page on your site ranks best for it. The URL column tells you which page that is.
Common Questions
Should I check a domain or a URL?
Check the domain when you want the overall picture of everything your site ranks for. Check a specific URL when you want to know exactly which keywords drive traffic to one piece of content. URL mode is especially useful before a content refresh or an internal linking pass.
How accurate is this?
Every ranking checker reads from an index built at some point in the past, not a live Google search at the moment you click. That includes this one. The index refreshes regularly, but brand new ranking changes and very long tail keywords may not show up until the next pass. Treat it as a strong sample rather than a live mirror.
Why are some columns empty?
Search volume, CPC, competition, and trend come from a source that charges per keyword, so they start empty. Click the button on the results table to add them.
